The Most Common Pineal Gland Meditation Question I’m Asked

The Most Common Pineal Gland Meditation Question Im Asked
SHARE
Have you tried Pineal Gland Meditation by any chance? I have led many group sessions of Pineal Gland Meditation with both beginners and advanced students over the past few years. I put what I taught them into my upcoming book, Connect: How to Find Clarity and Expand Your Consciousness with Pineal Gland Meditation.

If you are not familiar with the pineal gland, it is a pinecone-shaped endocrine gland in the center of the brain. Its main function is to secrete melatonin, which the body uses to help regulate its sleep-wake cycle. In many spiritual traditions, the pineal gland has symbolized the wisdom to see through illusion and an elevated spirit. It is also known as the “third eye.”

Pineal Gland Meditation is a way to make authentic, deep connections to yourself. It gives you calm and clarity to find the answers and solutions you are looking for in every aspect of your life.

The most common question people ask me about Pineal Gland Meditation is: “Other people have mystical experiences, but I don’t see any lights, and I don’t seem to be making any progress in my meditation practice. What should I do?”

I have this advice for those with such worries: Set aside the rush, the habit of comparing yourself with others, and concentrate on your soul.

Vibrations, images, or light seen during meditation are a kind of energy phenomenon.

What’s important is the essence, not the outward sign. What is the essence? It is your soul. Above all else, connect with the feeling in your heart, the feeling of your soul. Your practice will progress naturally if you focus there. Chasing mystical phenomena when you’re not connected with your soul won’t help you much.

How would seeing light or past lives or auras during meditation, without being connected to your essence, increase your quality of life, or that of anyone else? If you are overly curious about esoteric phenomena, the balance becomes broken. Those who aren’t firmly centered in their souls may suffer from visual or auditory hallucinations or be pulled so far into the mystical realms that it gets in the way of leading a healthy, balanced life. When your soul is your solid center, however, you can control any spiritual phenomena you experience. What’s important is having your soul—your essence—as your foundation.

The key to awakening your pineal gland is to be found in your soul. Progress toward this state depends on how sincerely and earnestly your soul longs to encounter divinity, and on your sincere desire to grow and complete your soul.

Don’t be in a hurry, thinking, “Why don’t I see the light? Why doesn’t my pineal gland open?” Instead, try to have an attitude that says, “I want to grow the soul in my heart. I earnestly want my soul to encounter the light of divinity.” When that intention grows stronger and stronger, your pineal gland naturally opens.

What does it mean to lead a spiritual life? Spirituality won’t find a place in our lives just because we light candles and incense or decorate our bodies and rooms with accessories advertising our esoteric interests.

A genuine spiritual life begins when you connect with your true self—your soul.

It’s living your own life, not being dragged around by your preconceptions and emotions or putting others’ opinions and expectations of you first. To live a truly spiritual life, you need to take time at least once a day to bring your vision inward, to connect with your true self, your attention having been focused outside all day.

Through this time you can meet and talk with yourself, and possibly even get hints or answers about your worries. This is a time for imbuing yourself with vitality. It’s a time for loving yourself by giving attention to your soul—a soul that has been disheartened by all sorts of thoughts, feelings, and stresses. A spiritual life is one in which you change your life by connecting with yourself every day, boosting your soul’s energy. The good effects of this will even expand to the people around you.
