When you think about energy, do you automatically think about the energy that is within you? Or, do you instantly focus on the energy forces outside of yourself? If you pause a moment and really think about it, you can imagine how these two energies are one in the same.
This is what magnet meditation is all about: learning to sense the forces that course through, both inside and outside of your own body and awareness. When we talk about being “in flow,” this is one aspect of what we mean. Being able to sense your energy and the energy of a situation allows you to come into harmony and “flow” with what is taking place.
Even manifesting your desires depends on your ability to sense situations and your own energy levels in order to facilitate changes you desire.
As you begin to work with magnets and develop greater skills at sensing energy, try this easy visualization meditation:
Sit, Breathe & Relax
Sit quietly, and breathe softly. Take a slow look around the room. Now, close your eyes. Draw in a deep breath as you imagine the room where you are sitting. Notice your breathing and begin to feel your heartbeat. Imagine the energy that is “you” and take a moment to experience and enjoy this connection.
Visualize
Now, slowly “zoom out” from this scene. Imagine yourself growing smaller as you pull up and away until you appear only as a small “dot” on the planet. Sense the energy here, from the perspective of the universe.
Recharge
Allow yourself to feel a part of the energy that encircles the earth and fills the universe. Understand that it is one, connecting energy. Pause here to enjoy the infinite energy that is both magnetic and electric. Feel the connection and allow it to flow by mirroring that energy and drawing it in.
Finish
When you feel recharged and satisfied, slowly “zoom in” to your body, the room you are in or your surroundings. Keep your eyes closed as you breathe a few deep breaths.
On every exhale, allow your lungs to empty well to prepare for the marvelous, life giving energy you will draw in when you inhale. Relax. Stay connected. Open your eyes. Enjoy!
