When you are low on energy it becomes harder to stick to your goals. And even though there are only 24 hours in a day, there are 1,440 minutes each day. Take one of them to give your fizzling energy a boost.
After the holidays, real life takes over and social routines and interactions can pull your focus away from your resolutions. Falling short of your goals can zap both physical and mental energy. He recommends one-minute exercises such as push ups, finger push ups (against a wall), squats, bowing and sit ups.
If you can commit to one minute of holding a horse riding stance squat at the start of your day, or one minute of sit ups before you head out for lunch or even finger push ups while you’re waiting for the bus, you will have built an energizing physical routine into your day without having to make any scheduling adjustments.
More importantly, with just one minute a day, you will be adding more energy to your life without taking too much time away from your day.
