You are currently experiencing a great phenomenon. The reason you feel your body swaying back and forth and counterclockwise and also the reason you feel random vibration in your brain is because the parts of your body that were once imbalanced are adjusting themselves through energy phenomena to get your body back into balance once more.
Even if you’re unaware of it, there are many times throughout the day where your body moves on its own to release problematic areas of your body. For example, when your head hurts you intuitively shake your head side to side or rest your head on your hands. When your hands are numb, you shake and move them. When you’ve been sitting down or have been driving for a long time, you somehow just know to stretch your body and rotate your lower back. These types of movements are not necessarily ones made consciously, but rather, they are movements where your brain intuitively knew on its own what the perfect movement was to circulate energy where you had some problems. Actually, the person with a real problem is someone who wants to move but can’t or someone who has absolutely no desire to move their bodies even though they have many problem areas.
Through the yoga classes and workshops you have taken, your energy sensation has come alive. From my point of view, it seems as if you’ve become more sensitive to what your body wants from you. The self-adjusting ability in your brain is fully activated right now to regain your health. It’s a really great phenomenon you’re experiencing, so don’t try to suppress it. Be grateful to your brain and body, and actually, be more proactive about the movements! If you can lie down, then that would be the best. If not, you can try standing up from your chair. It’s best for people who work for long hours in front of a computer to move their bodies for 5-10 minutes every hour or so. If you sit down for over an hour, your focus goes down and it’s quite bad for your health.
This practice of taking time for yourself every hour to step back from your current environment, thoughts, and emotions to focus on the present moment and your body is called Tongchun Living. Tong means “connecting” and chun means “Heaven,” which is in essence your own self. You can do 1-5 minutes of meditative breathing every hour, Plate Balancing Exercise, push-ups, squats...all of these exercises are great. Any movement where you can feel your own body and raise your body temperature is good to do. With Tongchun Living, you can focus on your body and grow your physical strength. Furthermore, you can build the power and also the habit to focus on your current self and your ability to manage your own time efficiently.
