Dream Your Dreams to Life

Dream Your Dreams to Life
SHARE
There are many sides of our mind that we don’t normally access. Compared to our conscious mind, our unconscious is like the tip of an iceberg that peaks above the ocean water. Yet, in the unconscious mind lies much of our creative potential and divine nature. While there are many techniques to reveal these aspects of our mind, ordinarily, we only access them in our dreams.

What can you do if you have not learned to control your dreams consciously, and your divine, creative aspects are underdeveloped? You can still use your dreams and your time asleep to aid your personal growth in your waking life.

I suggest clearing your mind before sleeping with meditations such as Brain Wave Vibration. Then reflect on your day. How did it go? What challenges did you face? Were you able to achieve your goals? Solidify your reflections in your mind by writing them in a journal. When you write something down, your brain understands it much more clearly than if you simply think about it.

Then write down a question or a problem you would like your brain to solve. As you sleep soundly, your brain will unravel the answers you need with the help of the collective unconscious—the limitless wisdom that exists in the universe that is unbound by time or place.

Then, when you wake up, emerge from sleep smoothly, rather than abruptly, to help your consciousness read your dreams. Right away, write down any dreams you remember. Don’t worry if you can’t remember any of your dreams, however. Instead, describe the condition of your body or any thoughts that immediately come to mind. You can even draw pictures.

Through this morning reflection, you will often discover new insights. You’ll get a better look at yourself and be able to see what you should do that day.

Maybe you won’t find an answer to your questions right away. However, when you present a problem to your brain, a dream about it will appear when you’re ready. If it hasn’t come, it means you’re not ready yet. Even if it doesn’t work right from the start, don’t be disappointed and keep up your daily practice. Over time, you may find yourself remembering your dreams more often and with greater clarity. Through your dreams, you’ll find the wisdom with which to solve the problems of your present reality. Your dreams will become more inspiration than information.

It’s hard to trust decisions made at night. Because you’re considerably tired at night, your judgment is hazy. Emotions exert a lot of influence. The ideas that come up in the morning, which is when you are in a very pure state, are extremely precious. Those ideas are the result of your brain working on the issues you face all night long. Value the ideas and thoughts that occur to you when you wake up in the morning.

Solving a problem after a good night’s sleep in not a new concept. However, as with many things that we already do naturally, such as shaking our head to clear our mind, doing it intentionally with purpose makes it all the more powerful and useful. In this way, the unconscious becomes conscious, and we develop our potential.

If you have trouble falling asleep, try doing the Toe Tapping exercise to calm your mind and relax your body. Do it in your bed until you become drowsy; your sleep will be deeper as well. To help you remember your dreams when you wake up, suggest to your mind before sleeping: “Tonight I will dream and definitely remember my dreams.”

As you do this every day, you’ll become better and better at utilizing your dreams to make decisions and create what you want in your waking life.
