The
Tao is the ultimate truth and substance of life. It is the principle of life energy flowing behind all things in the cosmos, and it is the ultimate wholeness to which all things, on becoming one, return. Although it is all things in existence, the
Tao is also the source that causes them to exist.
Human beings have the ability to experience
Tao. Many spiritual seekers have sought this experience of wholeness and oneness. This ability comes from your brain.
In one of Korea’s ancient scriptures, the Sam Il Shin Go, it says, “Seek God in your true nature. It has already come down and dwells in your brain.”
Divinity resides in your brain, and this is your own true nature—Tao.
Experiencing Tao requires realizing and recognizing your true nature.
As with all human self-realization, awakening to your true nature also takes place in the brain. It occurs when the energy of your soul, housed in your fourth chakra, becomes strong and bright enough to pass through your fifth chakra and join with the energy of divinity in your sixth chakra, located in the center of your brain. This joining is a spiritual fertilization through which the soul completes itself. Then the judgments and ideas of your ego disappear, and you experience Muah, a state of pure consciousness that is filled with the life energy of the cosmos. The heart of the realization of the Tao is achieving growth and completion of the soul by feeling and using pure energy in a selfless state of pure consciousness.
The joining of the soul and divinity in the brain is called Shin In Hap Il. Shin refers to the divine energy of the sixth chakra, and In is the energy of the human soul. Hap means “to join or unite,” and Il means “one.” Thus, Shin In Hap Il means, “The energies of the soul and divinity unite to become one,” or, “God and humanity become one.” When your soul encounters the energy of divinity and becomes one with it, you realize that your true nature is of the divine, one with the Source of the universe.
Once the divine energy of the sixth chakra is activated, it automatically awakens the energy of the seventh chakra, located at the top of your head. This awakening feels like the petals of a lotus flower opening. An energy line from the space above your head can then connect here and continue down like a beam of energy. It spreads to all of your chakras and surrounds your body in the luminous energy of the cosmos, allowing you to feel complete integration and unity of mind and body, of different parts of your brain, and of your individual consciousness and universal consciousness.
At the moment of death, the energy of the completed soul leaves the body through the seventh chakra and returns to the Source of the universe. For the completed soul, then, the
death of the body becomes a new birth.
Many sages who practiced Taoism in Korea refused to lie down at the moment of their deaths. They sat in lotus posture, controlled their breathing, and experienced death in a state of oneness with the energy of the cosmos. They circulated energy through their bodies, opening their seventh chakra wide so that their completed souls could leave through it.
The principles and practices of Brain Education that I created are designed to help you go through this process of spiritual birth. They bring you into the state of pure energy and pure consciousness that leads to the completion of the soul in the brain.
Your brain is the greatest tool that you have to complete your soul and live a
life of Tao. Cherish your brain and use it well.
