Top 3 Meditative Exercises to Stay Grounded During Chaos

Top 3 Meditative Exercises to Stay Grounded During Chaos
SHARE
Life is never smooth. Just when we think we have a clear path, we’ll inevitably hit a bump. So, if we can’t prevent all of them, how can we stop bumps in the road from throwing us off? How can we stay centered and stay on our path?

You may have heard things like, “look within,” “meditate,” and “be centered,” but this can sound kind of vague. To make it more concrete, you can try thinking of your center as a physical location in your body in which your awareness stays in that space.

Vibration, visualization, and breathing are powerful tools for changing your energy amidst chaos. They break up blocked, stagnant energy and replace them with clean, refreshing, grounding energy to help you stay strong and in control.

Try these three exercises to keep yourself centered and grounded when you need it.

Grounding Exercise for Your Brain

Benefits: Clearing brain fog, Releasing negative thoughts and/or emotions

1. Sit or stand with your spine straight.
2. Use your fingertips to tap all around your head to stimulate your brain.
3. Feel the sensations each tap makes. Notice any tension around your head and exhale out through your mouth, while imagining stuffy energy leaving your body through your exhalations.
4. After a couple of minutes, imagine bright, golden light entering your brain from the crown of your head and filling every crevice of your brain. See your brain getting brighter and brighter until bright light fills your entire brain.
5. Continue tapping until your brain feels light and bright.

Grounding Exercise for Your Heart

Benefits: Clearing old emotions, memories, heartaches

1. Stand or sit in half lotus posture with your spine straight.
2. Relax your fingertips and use them to tap the middle of your chest (sternum).
3. As you tap, let out a soft and low “ahhhhhh” sound that comes from deep within your chest.
4. Focus on the sound and the vibrations in your chest. Use the vibration to clear out any old or stagnant energy lodged in your lungs, heart, and chest.
5. Continue the exercise until your chest feels free and clear and your breathing becomes easier and deeper.

Grounding Exercise for Your Core

Benefits: Builds internal strength to become unshakable despite external circumstances

1. Sit or stand with your spine straight.
2. Roll your hands into a fist or with open palms, tap your abdomen two inches below the navel. Relax your shoulders, arms, and abdomen as you tap.
3. Feel the sensations each tap makes in your body and keep your attention there. Breathe naturally.
4. After five minutes, finish the tapping by moving your hands three times in a clockwise circle over your lower abdomen.
5. Keep your hands on your abdomen as you continue to breathe. Focus on your lower abdomen as it rises and falls with each breath. Breathe slow. Repeat this slow, abdominal breathing 10 times.

You can do these three exercises together in a sequence, stimulating your energy centers from top to bottom. Or you can focus on one center if you feel particularly tense or “stuffy” in that area. At any time, you can also simply visualize the line of energy going through the center of your body, keeping you standing strong and bright in the face of anything and energizing you whenever you need it.

My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. He was placed on Senemet for 8 months and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Senemet, during this time span he was also diagnosed with dementia. He started having hallucinations, lost toxuch with reality. Suspecting it was the medication I took him off the Siferol (with the doctor’s knowledge) and started him on PD natural herbal formula we ordered from AKANNI HERBAL CENTRE, his symptoms totally declined over a 3 weeks use of the AKANNI HERBAL Parkinsons disease natural herbal formula. He is now almost 51 and doing very well, the disease is totally reversed!  (Visit www. akanniherbalcentre .com)
