CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect has garnered yet another award, winning the Special Jury Prize of Technical/Creative Achievement Award at this year's VISIONFEST 14: The Other Festival.
Change: The LifeParticle Effect, a progressive, trailblazing documentary about life energy and human potential from executive producer Ilchi Lee, was highlighted in the 2014 Independent Vision Competition & Showcase.
The film, directed by Edwin Kim and EJ Lim, had been nominated in two Independent Vision Award (IVA) categories: Documentary and Editing.
Happy to receive the award for Technical Excellence, co-director Edwin Kim says, "We are so honored to receive this award. It's so encouraging that this film, which portrays Ilchi Lee's belief in the endless potential in each of us, is being recognized at such a high profile festival."
The film's creative achievement is in its effectiveness in giving people real inspiration and practical tools to be the creators and implementers of their own positive change, in their own lives and in the world.
Change ran at
Tribeca Cinemas, New York City from May 14-18, 2014.
The festival is sponsored by Domani Vision Film Society whose tagline is "Dedicated to bringing you tomorrow's visionaries today." Visionfest is one of the few solely domestic film festivals in the United States.
The producers and crew of the film are proud to add this newest award to the film's list of, so far, more than a dozen film festival achievements and honors.
