How the Calligraphy Was Made:
Ilchi Lee made the original calligraphy using techniques of the East Asian tradition with small to medium-tipped brushes on calligraphy paperboard made from fine handmade rice paper affixed to a hardboard backing.
The principles and benefits of practicing calligraphy are similar to meditation, kigong, and internal martial arts. Ilchi Lee often compares calligraphy to Dahnmu energy dance, the art of moving your body with the flow of energy.

Printing Information
The artwork is printed on an ultra-durable satin canvas with an abrasion-resistant surface that stands the test of time. Odorless, eco-conscious, and vivid premium water-based ink brings the art to life. The canvas is then gallery wrapped on a ¾” kiln-dried pine wooden stretcher frame. An outer decorative floating frame with a ¼-inch gap between the frame and canvas covers the edges and gives a striking look popular in contemporary art galleries.
The artwork comes in two sizes in a black gallery frame. It arrives ready-to-hang with hanging hardware. All frames are made to order, so please allow 3 weeks for arrival.
