Artist’s Statement
We’re All Shining
I chose this painting especially for the Change Your Energy community in celebration of CYE’s anniversary this August.
As I look at this work, I see a small light glowing at the center of life. From that light, color and energy gently spread outward, like a heartbeat, a flower opening, or a universe coming to life.
I believe that each of us carries such a light within us.
It is not something we need to search for outside ourselves. It is the pure light of life that has been with us from the beginning. Even when we forget it, it continues to shine quietly within us.
The small white birds flying through the painting are my Birds of the Soul. They represent the pure and untouched essence within each person—the part of us that is forever free, whole, and alive. No matter what we experience, this essence can never be damaged or lost.
I feel that the Change Your Energy community has always encouraged people to discover this inner light and allow it to shine more fully. That is why this painting felt especially meaningful to share with you.
When you look at it, I hope you will pause for a moment and feel the light at the center of your own being. May the Birds of the Soul remind you of who you truly are, and may your light continue to grow and brighten the lives of those around you.

About the Artist
Jisu Han is an accomplished illustrator and painter who has worked on various children's books, adult fables, and international art projects, including the illustrations for Change Your Energy founder Ilchi Lee’s storybook, Bird of the Soul. She’s had exhibitions in South Korea, the United States, France, Japan, China, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia.
Jisu's art is well-known and loved for its meditative power. It helps viewers experience deep serenity or contemplation. She is a seasoned meditator, and her art is a way to share what she experiences in deep meditative states with the world.

About the Light of Life Series
This series of paintings expresses the light energy of the Source of Life.
This is the light that can be experienced in deep meditation, when the boundaries between all things disappear and we become one with everything. We can feel that we are all light-like beings connected by one light who are energized by the light and will return to the light.
