About the Artwork
The energy principles of nature are beyond the limitations of words. To truly understand them, they must be felt and experienced. Tao master and Change Your Energy founder Ilchi Lee has put these energy principles into his calligraphic art, making each piece while in deep meditation.
Encountering the One - When you open your whole body and mind, you will feel the divine nature dwelling in everything. You will encounter the One in everything. Become one with true life; it is shining in your heart, vibrating. Let this calligraphy deeply move you to feel the One that is all.
How the Calligraphy Was Made:
Ilchi Lee made the original calligraphy using techniques of the East Asian tradition with small to medium-tipped brushes on calligraphy paperboard made from fine handmade rice paper affixed to a hardboard backing.
The principles and benefits of practicing calligraphy are similar to meditation, kigong, and internal martial arts. Ilchi Lee often compares calligraphy to Dahnmu energy dance, the art of moving your body with the flow of energy.
