Bird of the Soul: New Paintings by Jisu Han

If you’ve been part of the Change Your Energy community for a while, you may remember Jisu Han as one of the very first artists featured in our energy art gallery back in 2023. She contributed two vibrant painting series—Flower of the Universe and Light of Life—that brought brightness, harmony, and spiritual connection into many of your spaces.

We’re happy to share that Jisu has given us a new set of paintings from her Bird of the Soul series.

This series is based on Ilchi Lee’s book of the same name, which Jisu illustrated. The story follows a young man named Jay and his relationship with his soul, symbolized by a sweet, singing bird. It’s a beautiful and gentle story that resonates with both adults and children. Ilchi Lee says that it’s his own personal story, and he believes it is also many people’s story.

In the Bird of the Soul storybook, traveling with Jay, you rediscover what is most precious and important. You journey inward to connect to the wisdom, meaning, and potential that come from your soul.

It is with this same intention that we offer Jisu Han’s Bird of the Soul paintings.

For Jisu, painting is a way of communicating something that can’t be put into words. Her work is deeply influenced by her meditation practice and her ongoing journey in life and spirituality. She often seeks to express the feeling of connecting with one’s true self.

As the illustrator of Ilchi Lee’s book, Jisu spent time not only drawing the story, but internalizing it. The Bird of the Soul is a symbol she can feel and relate to personally. In the 11 Bird of the Soul paintings in this collection, each one expresses a unique, vibrant, and joyful energy.

The Bird of the Soul is not something outside of you. It’s a part of yourself that is always there, even if it seems quiet or forgotten. That “forgetting” doesn’t mean it’s gone. It just means your attention has moved elsewhere.
